In today’s dynamic work environment, where remote and hybrid work models are becoming increasingly prevalent, maintaining effective communication and collaboration is crucial. Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature that allows users to set their work location for the day.

This feature brings transparency and clarity to team members regarding each other’s availability for in-office and remote collaboration. By simply clicking on a user’s avatar or profile photo in Teams, colleagues will be able to access vital information such as online status, work hours, local time, and most importantly, the work location whether it be remote or the office.

Say goodbye to Microsoft Teams Wikis and hello to enhanced note taking with OneNote

Microsoft has announced that Microsoft Teams channels wikis will be retired and note taking capabilities will be powered by OneNote. This change is part of Microsoft effort to unify the applications available in Microsoft 365 for note taking.

OneNote provides an enhanced note taking experience, keeping the team notes organized in a single notebook. The new experience includes easy collaboration across the team, rich editing with typing, ink annotations, highlighting, file attachments, and easy recall and search for channel notes within OneNote on any platform.

How to export teams users to CSV from Microsoft Teams Admin Center

Microsoft Teams has become an essential communication and collaboration tool for organizations worldwide. With Teams, administrators can manage users, teams, and channels to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

One essential feature for administrators is the ability to export a list of teams users from the Teams Admin Center. This feature allows administrators to get a list of the users, including user name, user id, title, location and role. The data is exported in a CSV format, which is easily readable and can be used for analysis or reporting.
