Meet Microsoft Viva – Your new employee experience
Microsoft Viva is the new Employee Experience suite of application provided by Microsoft that combines communications, knowledge, learning, and resources inside Microsoft Teams.
Viva includes 4 different modules: Viva Connections, Viva Insights, Viva Learning and Viva Topics with Microsoft announcing that are more on the way.

Viva Connections
Keeps everyone informed and inspired to bring their best to work every day.
Viva Connections aims to make employees to feel more connected to their Teams now that most of the world is working remotely.
Available from Microsoft Teams, Viva Connections provides a single-entry point for employee engagement and internal communications.
Behind connections is a SharePoint site with the company brand and curated content for each employee, working also as an entry point to Yammer communities.
Viva Insights
Gives employees and leaders data that helps everyone to work smarter and thrive.
Viva Insights helps employees to unplug from work helping them to avoid reaching a sense of burnout. It keeps employees connected and protects time for regular breaks, focused work and learning.
Individuals and Managers will get access to privacy protected information that will help them and their teams to thrive. It introduces new personal wellbeing experiences, insights and recommended actions in the Workplace Analytics and My Analytics app in Microsoft Teams.
Viva Topics
Helps employees to find information by putting AI to work saving hours of search for content.
Viva Topics wants to give time back to employees by showing them the content that matters without the need of a custom search.
Viva Topics is like a Wikipedia with AI superpowers for an organization that is able to surface information from the Microsoft Cloud but also from third-party services like ServiceNow and Salesforce. It supports Graph connectors that allow extensibility with custom data from the company living in other systems.
Viva Learning
Empowers employees to gain new skills with new video trainings.
With Viva, employees will be able to easily discover new training courses to keep updated with new technologies and with the one they are already using.
Viva Learning aggregates content from LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft Learn, your organization’s own custom content, and trainings from leading content providers like Skillsoft, Coursera, Pluralsight, and edX.
Like the other Viva components, it is also available from Microsoft Teams in a dedicated personal application.
As of today, Viva Topics is generally available, Microsoft also announced the public preview of Viva Insights and a private preview of Viva Learning. More innovations will come throughout 2021.
